Carol ran a felted flower workshop for Streatham WI at one of our monthly meetings and it was a great success! The workshop was fun and Carol’s instruction was excellent, with us learning a new craft and producing a variety of lovely floral pieces. We were very impressed with how our colourful ‘pieces of fluff’ evolved into a beautiful flowers. The workshop was fun, creative, and well organised, and I’d definitely recommend it – Many thanks Carol!  March 2016

Zoe and her friends had a great time and its so nice to see the fotos of the felting process- their faces are so focussed on the task for big chunks of time and in between so much fun and laughter.  Christian and I were impressed with the way you organised the party, managed the girls and were kind and thoughtful  with so many details- and the atmosphere in your house is lovely !  Stephanie K about her 12 year-old daughter’s birthday party  October 2015

Thank you for a relaxing, fun, creative day it was areal treat for both us and a successful present. Ros and I really enjoyed our day and were so excited that we had been able to make two finished things to take home.  It was great to be surrounded by all the colour and creativity and to learn a new craft using our favourite wool that gives us a reason to revisit Collinette in Wales..   We have been buying wool and both are looking forward to starting our next project.  My I pad case has been in use and was admired by colleagues at work.     Thank you for making the day possible Nicola G

I had a lovely day and so enjoyed being creative and so inspired.  As a novice felter, the whole process was intriguing and I will definitely try it again.  Archie and Zoe were well impressed with the slippers and wanted to know exactly how they were made.  I might just have to demonstrate and give them some work experience!

Many thanks for a most wonderful day on Monday. Everything was perfect , venue, host,  other students and most of all Carol and Joan. I have spent lots of time on the internet seeing where I can purchase Art doll faces but this then leads me onto related subjects. i have shown off my work and already have hung my felt work. Carol is the perfect teacher – enthusiastic, encouraging and full of ideas.  Always positive and with artistic flair,  she can set you off on a project that may hitherto have seemed full of overwhelming obstacles… as in my stitch picture.  Highly recommended!   Judy G

“I have been to two of Carol’s felting workshops. My experience of both was excellent as I was able to go home and produce items on my own that I would never have managed without her help. I found the whole experience of meeting in a group and trying out some real hands-on craft work very good therapy for relaxing from stressful city life. Your felt workshops helped me to try things that I do not have either the equipment or the space for at home. You provided a very creative atmosphere which was stimulated by all the books and props around the work room. Basically it was great to have the time to spend using my hands and thinking how I could extend what I learned from you into my own projects.    Rosie K

It is always a pleasure to go to see Carol. Last winter I passed many a pleasant evening in her red room knitting socks. Some people were crocheting , others were knitting and there was a lot of chatting going on too. I am about to embark on a beginner’s embroidery course, not something I ever imagined I would do but I am sure it will be great fun! Daintry M

I wouldn’t even consider asking anyone other than Carol and her team to decorate my home for me. Carol has done the entire house almost twice now over an eight year period, her work is thorough, neat and to a super standard with attention to detail. Once carol decorates your home you will never use another decorator!  Anthea A
