The best description I’ve heard about my felt slippers is that ‘wearing them is like having your feet hugged’!  It takes a whole day,  given that there are two separate items to make (one for each foot!).   We will choose colours & embellishments in the morning, layering up the templates, have a light lunch, then felt the slippers in the afternoon.  If they are for yourself, you can finish shaping them on your own feet, for that truly ‘hugged’ feeling.
